About Me!
Hey, I'm Frostii. I go by my preferred name "Trace" if you'd rather use that. I'm an 18yo American young adult on the East Coast, looking to find a way to monetize my passions so I can eventually live off of them.
I first explore my passion for art all the way back in 4th grade. I would spend my time drawing Pokemon. This soon evolved into making my own characters revolving around humans, dragons, feral animals, and anthropomorphic animals. I'm currently happy with my current art style; but I have big intentions to improve further!
Animators on youtube were my first inspiration and my biggest inspiration to start sharing my art. They're also in part to "blame" for my interest in the furry fandom. I first started posting on warriors amino under the name Frostfang, where I gained a following of ~600. I decided to make the choice to abandon it when they started heavily monetizing the app and slapping ads everywhere (as well as the interactions with problematic users within it). I wanted to share my art elsewhere.
It wasn't until years later that I started posting my art again. I started actually using Twitter and I've found to like it more than I'd previously imagined, besides the toxicity we all try our best to ignore. I plan to continue to pursue posting on Twitter but start posting time-lapses of my art process to youtube once I'm able to afford a tablet for art instead of my phone.
I can't take much credit for where I stand now with my art. If it weren't for digital artists online, I would never have found my passion for any of this. I have to thank all of the professional artists who've posted tutorials, tips, and tricks over the years. Without them, I would've never been able to hone my skills. Forever grateful <3
